Softball Recap: Rocky Hill Has No Trouble Against Middletown

Rocky Hill lost to Middletown back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Terriers blew past the Blue Dragons 13-0. The result was nothing new for the Terriers, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.

Lucy Criscuolo was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Juliana Incarvito also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Rocky Hill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of 1.900. The last time their OBP was this high was was before the start of last season.

Rocky Hill's record is now 9-2. As for Middletown, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Looking ahead, Rocky Hill will welcome Plainville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Middletown, they will venture away from home to take on Newington at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Dragons will need to watch out since the Nor'easters have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
