Fairfax waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Carl Hayden Community Falcons 16-4. Considering the Stampede have won seven contests by more than 11 runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Briley Gould spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on two hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kaycee Noderer, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with seven RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high. Jaslene Soberano was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Fairfax's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Carl Hayden Community, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Fairfax didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 22-2 win against Central on the 14th. As for Carl Hayden Community, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-7 defeat against Dysart on the 13th.
