Fond du Lac scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 65-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 51-39 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

This is the second loss in a row for Fond du Lac and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Kaukauna, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Fond du Lac won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Bay Port at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kaukauna, they will be home for the holidays to greet Appleton North at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
