South Forsyth is 8-2 against the Bulldogs since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The South Forsyth War Eagles will be playing at home against the Forsyth Central Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, South Forsyth came up short against the Eagles and fell 53-42. While losing is never fun, South Forsyth can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while the Eagles are ranked 24th).
Meanwhile, Forsyth Central's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Friday after their eighth straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 59-35 loss at the hands of West Forsyth.
South Forsyth has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season. As for Forsyth Central, their loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-20.
South Forsyth strolled past the Bulldogs in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a score of 48-31. Will South Forsyth repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
