When it comes to explaining why Trinity Lutheran lost, one person who can't be blamed is Peyton Pollert. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Pottschmidt, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds.
Columbus East found their leader in underclassman Keaton Lawson, who scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Danny Coriden, who scored 11 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Trinity Lutheran and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Columbus East, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
