Owen Eaton turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than seven strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off eight hits. Regis is 4-1 when Eaton posts eight or more strikeouts, but 6-7 otherwise.

Eaton's strong effort led Regis over Santiam and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams are 9-1 against the Wolverines going back to April of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
