While losing is never fun, Braymer can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 269th, while Plattsburg is ranked 68th).
Despite the loss, Braymer still got an impressive performance from Jordan Haley, who scored 17 points. Haley scored a full 29.8% of Braymer's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Carter Shoe was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
It was another big night for Michael "isaia" Howard, who dropped a double-double on 39 points and 11 rebounds for Plattsburg. The matchup was Howard's 13th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Rylan Langton, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Braymer and nudges their season record down to 7-5. As for Plattsburg, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Braymer will take on Norborne at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Norborne is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Plattsburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lathrop at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lathrop is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
