The Wynot Blue Devils have the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome the Silver Lake Mustangs at 10:30 a.m. on October 19th. Wynot has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 228 points over their last five contests.
Last Friday, Wynot faced Bloomfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Wynot managed a 36-30 victory over Bloomfield.
Among those leading the charge was Dylan Heine, who rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 112 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Silver Lake strolled past Blue Hill with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 34-20.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Silver Lake to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaxon tenBensel, who rushed for 159 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Jordan Faimon, who picked up 119 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Wynot's victory was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 7-0. They've been dominating across those contests too: they took their wins by an average of 26 points. Silver Lake has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
