Evergreen Park won the last time they faced Oak Lawn and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mustangs blew past the Spartans 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won seven matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Evergreen Park and bumps their season record up to 9-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Oak Lawn, they dropped their record down to 6-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Evergreen Park will challenge Lemont at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oak Lawn, they will be taking part in a tournament against Glenbard West at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hilltoppers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight.
