It was another big night for Leslie Hames, who scored 27 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Katelyn Cooper, who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds and four steals.
Skyline's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-1. As for Decatur Heritage Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.
Skyline strolled past Decatur Heritage Christian Academy in their previous matchup on December 5th by a score of 61-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Skyline since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
