Friends' Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Muhsin Muhammad led the charge by scoring 31 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Muhammad has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Fazl Oshodi, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Friends' Central's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Chi-Prep Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Friends' Central will look to defend their home court on Monday against Shipley at 5:30 p.m. Shipley is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. Chi-Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
