The Liberty Minutemen will be playing in front of their home fans against the Liberty Christian Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Tuesday, Liberty was the victim of a tough 70-47 loss at the hands of the Cavaliers.
Despite the loss, Liberty saw an underclassman step up: Shania Brown dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. Brown is crushing the rebound category: she's posted at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Annabelle Whorley, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Liberty Christian put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Rustburg at home to the tune of 64-19. Liberty Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 22 points or more this season.
Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Liberty Christian, they pushed their record up to 16-0 with that win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.
