Savannah had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Maryville Spoofhounds with a sharp 15-2 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Savages, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Savannah's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Maryville, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Savannah will take on Oak Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed eight runs per game on average), something the Savages will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Maryville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cameron at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
