Montgomery Catholic waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles as they made off with a 12-0 win. Considering the Knights have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Jordan Jackson made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Jackson was even better at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Colby Patterson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Thomas Castanza, who got on base in both of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Montgomery Catholic hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive games.
