The Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays entered their tilt with the West Shamokin Wolves with five consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with six. Conemaugh Valley came out on top against West Shamokin by a score of  80-67  on Friday. Given Conemaugh Valley's advantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings  (they are ranked 121st, while West Shamokin is ranked 404th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Conemaugh Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Landon Percinsky led the charge by  scoring 19 points along with nine  rebounds and three  steals. Percinsky has been hot recently, having posted eight or more  rebounds the last ten times he's  played.  Jeremy Dietz was another key contributor,  dropping  a double-double on 20 points and 11  rebounds.
 Conemaugh Valley's victory was  their tenth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 14-1. They've been dominating during the  contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 18.4 points. As for West Shamokin,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 8-6.
 Conemaugh Valley will head out on the road to  face off against  Marion Center at 7:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Marion Center is coming into the  match on a four-game losing streak. As for West Shamokin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Portage at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
