Williston has gone 7-1 against Turtle Mountain recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Coyotes will challenge the Braves at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Williston has three straight wins, Turtle Mountain has 17 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Williston had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg on Friday. The Coyotes put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 13-0 victory. The Coyotes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by eight runs or more this season.
Mekiah Klumker made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

Turtle Mountain's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Williston has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .469. It's a different story for Turtle Mountain, though, as they've only averaged .325. Will they be able to contain Williston's hitters?
Everything went Williston's way against Turtle Mountain in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Williston made off with a 25-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Coyotes since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
