Lynn Classical won the last time they faced Medford, and things went their way on Friday, too. Lynn Classical took the matchup and then some with a 52-8 victory over Medford. The margin was wide but not a surprise since Lynn Classical are ranked far ahead of Medford in the MaxPreps state rankings. This was the first game for both teams, giving Lynn Classical a 1-0 record and starting Medford off at 0-1.
After their action against one another, the teams are leaving the conference to test themselves against outside opponents. Next week Lynn Classical take on Malden at Manning Bowl at 5:00 PM. As for Medford, they will face off against Winthrop.
