The Laytonville Warriors are on the road again on Wednesday and play against the Hoopa Valley Warriors at 3:30 p.m. on December 13th.
Last Saturday, Laytonville ended up a good deal behind Technology and lost 64-50.
Meanwhile, Hoopa Valley didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Tulelake on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 46-40 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hoopa Valley.
Hoopa Valley relied on the efforts of Lyle Mckinnon, who scored 15 points, and Brandon Romero, who scored 16 points. The matchup was Mckinnon's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Seqouia Valentine, who scored 6 points.
The losses dropped Laytonville to 0-3 and Technology to 2-5.
Laytonville was dealt a bruising 77-37 loss at the hands of Hoopa Valley when the teams last played back in December of 2018. Can Laytonville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
