Leading Slocum to victory were James Lindsey and Carter Sbrusch. Lindsey scored 16 points, while Sbrusch scored 27 points. That's the first time this season that Lindsey scored 15 or more points. Creede Kessel was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Slocum and bumps their season record up to 8-15. As for Centerville, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.
Slocum will look to defend their home court on Friday against Martinsville at 7:30 p.m. Martinsville will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Centerville, they will head out on the road to take on Neches at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
