Valiant Cross Academy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They secured a 63-58 W over the Evangel Christian Lightning. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 71-56 two weeks ago.

Valiant Cross Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Deshawn Hall, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 boards. Hall is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 36 games he's played dating back to last season. James Cosby was another key player, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds.

Valiant Cross Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 27 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 16 offensive rebounds in 39 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Valiant Cross Academy's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. As for Evangel Christian, they moved to 7-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
