On November 14th, Tallulah Falls was the victim of a tough 60-36 loss at the hands of White County. Tallulah Falls has not had much luck with White County recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Defeat or not, Tallulah Falls got some senior leadership from Adrijana Albijanic who scored 8 points along with 12 rebounds and 6 steals and Allie Phasavang who scored 8 points along with 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Haygen James, who scored 7 points along with 3 steals.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Towns County's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 59-46 to Union County. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Towns County came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while Union County is ranked 176th).
Despite the loss, Towns County saw an underclassman step up: Scotlyn Fain scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Fain is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brelan Sieveking, who scored 11 points along with 4 steals.
Tallulah Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Towns County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.
