Even though the Boling Bulldogs have not done well against the La Grange Leopards recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Boling slipped by La Grange 41-40. The win was familiar territory for Boling who now have three in a row.
Despite the loss, La Grange still got an impressive performance from Victoria Harold, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Campbell Cooper, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Boling has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for La Grange, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boling will take on East Bernard at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Bernard is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for La Grange, they will be playing at home against Caldwell at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Caldwell will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1272nd, while La Grange is ranked 570th).
