There's no place like home for the Madison Cubs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 67-59 victory over North Harrison on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Madison's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Quincy Reynolds led the charge by scoring 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon True, who scored 17 points.
Madison's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for North Harrison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-14.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison will challenge Seymour at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Seymour presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Madison in Indiana (Seymour is ranked 39th, while Madison is ranked 284th).
