Santiago's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Savanna Rebels with a sharp 13-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cavaliers, who have now won ten matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Santiago has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Savanna, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-18.

Santiago has already played their next contest, a 15-0 victory against Los Amigos on the 2nd. As for Savanna, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 9-3 win against Western on the 2nd.
