Father Tolton extended their winning streak to four on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 10-2-1 in the process. They blew past the St. Michael the Archangel Guardians 13-3. Considering Father Tolton has won six games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

As for St. Michael the Archangel, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 12-4 record. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since March 26th.

For St. Michael the Archangel's part, Colston Lyon was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. Lyon has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Mark Wiemann, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Father Tolton will take on Blair Oaks at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Michael the Archangel, they will challenge Pembroke Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
