Gibsland-Coleman had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 57-54 win from a begrudging Bulldogs squad. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since November 11th.

Gibsland-Coleman's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. As for Lincoln Prep, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gibsland-Coleman and Arcadia will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lincoln Prep, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Union Parish on January 4, 2025.
