The Narbonne Gauchos will be playing at home against the Gardena Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Two weeks ago, Narbonne came up short against San Pedro and fell 35-26.
Meanwhile, Gardena put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season on Friday. Everything went their way against Carson as Gardena made off with a 27-7 win.
Gardena can attribute much of their success to Myles Mason, who rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries, and also picked up 45 receiving yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Kim, who threw for 151 yards and two touchdowns.
Narbonne now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Gardena, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
Narbonne won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in September of 2022, slipping by Gardena 22-21. Will Narbonne repeat their success, or does Gardena have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
