Everything went their way against Georgia Force Christian as St. John Bosco Academy made off with a 88-67 victory. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, Georgia Force Christian had strong showings from Carter Mccarn, who scored 23 points along with three steals, and Cj Britt, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. That was a full 34.3% of Georgia Force Christian's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shepard Acton, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
St. John Bosco Academy pushed their record up to 12-6 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Georgia Force Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John Bosco Academy will face off against Horizon Christian Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Horizon Christian Academy is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last nine games. Georgia Force Christian on the road again on Tuesday and play against Johnson Ferry Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th.
