After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Riverview, Lennard was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Armwood Hawks as Lennard made off with a 17-2 victory. The Longhorns haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Ashley Brionez was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Sarita Hernandez, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.

Lennard always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .711. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Lennard's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Armwood, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Coming up, Lennard will challenge East Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lennard's pitchers better be ready for this one: East Bay has averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season.
