In what's become a running theme this season, the Franklinton Rams gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Northern Nash 52-18 on the road. Franklinton is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 13 straight.
Franklinton found their leader in underclassman Asia Burton, who scored 24 points. Burton has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last eight times she's played. Mikayla Taborn was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Franklinton's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1. As for Northern Nash, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
Franklinton will head out on the road to take on Rocky Mount at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northern Nash, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Southern Nash at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th.
