Quincy's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Ephrata, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quincy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Othello at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Quincy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Ephrata, they and Selah will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Selah will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Ephrata surely won't give up without a fight.
