East Kentwood was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They lost  3-0 to the Rockford Rams. The Falcons were not able to make up for their  defeat to the Rams from their previous meeting  back in October of 2024.
 The final score came out to 25-6, 25-18,  25-17.
 Rockford found their leader in sophomore  Kaila VanDrie, who  had seven  digs and four  aces. Those four  aces set a new season-high mark for  VanDrie.
East Kentwood's loss dropped their record down to 4-22-1. As for Rockford, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-1.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. East Kentwood is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Hudsonville  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rockford will  challenge  rival Grand Haven  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
