He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing two fumbles, making 14 total tackles, and defending two passes.

Hunter was dynamite, rushing for 152 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 54 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Hunter must have Minatare's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Hunter last faced the Indians back in October of 2023, he rushed for 95 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries.

A Season-Best Effort from Tripp Buettner Leads Hay Springs over Crawford
On Friday, Hay Springs got the W thanks in part to Tripp Buettner playing the best football he has all season. Buettner rushed for 143 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 32 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made six total tackles in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
