Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Berean Christian Eagles, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were dealt a 57-7 loss at the hands of Willits on Friday. The low total for Berean Christian limited their streak of high-flying scores to three in a row.
Joshua Werner threw for 200 yards and a touchdown. Hunter Inkster was his top target, picking up 57 receiving yards.
Berean Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Willits, they have yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 8-3 record.
Berean Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Willits will stay at home for another week and welcome Kelseyville at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Kelseyville is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
