Gregory Williams Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Homer's Gregory Williams, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Williams' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 171 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Homer's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. Williams' next contest is against Magnolia School of Excellence on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

Luke Miller Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Calvary Baptist Academy got the W thanks in part to Luke Miller playing the best football he has all season. Miller made 13 total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
