The Anderson Christian Lions lost against the Cambridge Academy Cougars back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Anderson Christian received a tough blow as they fell 66-50 to Cambridge Academy.
Maddox Lee was his usual excellent self, going 7 for 13 from beyond the arc en route to 32 points and 1 assist for Cambridge Academy. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Wiley, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Anderson Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Cambridge Academy, their victory ended a 14-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Anderson Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Our Lady of the Rosary at 8:00 p.m. on January 17th. Cambridge Academy on the road again on Thursday and play against Barnes Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th.
