The Morristown Yellow Jackets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell to Anderson Prep Academy 77-72. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Morristown lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being William Snyder, who scored 17 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. That's the first time this season that Snyder scored 15 or more points. Cade Mahin was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Morristown's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Anderson Prep Academy, their victory ended a 16-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10.
Morristown will challenge North Decatur at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully North Decatur focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Saturday. As for Anderson Prep Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against University at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. University is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.
