Make it seven blowout wins for the Oakwood Panthers this season. They were the clear victor by a 29-7 margin over Trinidad. The victory was nothing new for Oakwood as they're now sitting on five straight.
Oakwood got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jacee Youngblood out in front who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Youngblood is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Neel, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Oakwood is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Trinidad, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Oakwood will head out on the road to square off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Milford is on a three-game streak of home wins, the Panthers a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Trinidad will take on the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
