San Pasqual is 8-1 against Escondido since November of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The San Pasqual Golden Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Escondido Cougars at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (San Pasqual has three straight victories, Escondido has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
San Pasqual put the finishing touches on their third blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Vista 27-0 on the road.

Meanwhile, Escondido was the victim of a rough 27-7 defeat at the hands of Rancho Buena Vista on Friday.
San Pasqual's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 5-4. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-9 Vista and 4-5 Valley Center (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 38.9% over those games). As for Escondido, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
Everything came up roses for San Pasqual against Escondido in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 as the squad secured a 44-0 victory. Does San Pasqual have another victory up their sleeve, or will Escondido turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
