The Jay Royals will face off against the Pace Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Pace took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Jay, who comes in off a win.
Jay took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over Walton. Considering the Royals have won four matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Cadee Carroll made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI. Those RBI marked the first that she has brought in this season.
In other batting news, Mylee Frazier was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Gilbreath, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Jay was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Pace's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Niceville. The Patriots were red-hot at the plate heading into the game (they scored no less than ten runs in the four contests prior), but the Eagles' pitchers proved too tough.
Kamryn Pierce was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run. Kennedy Franz was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
Jay's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Pace, their loss dropped their record down to 15-2.
