Broadway extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Staunton River. They blew past the Golden Eagles 8-1. The result was nothing new for the Gobblers, who have now won 16 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Broadway, bringing their record up to 21-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Staunton River, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-6.

Coming up, Broadway will take on New Kent at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something the Gobblers surely won't give up without a fight. Staunton River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
