The Wapahani Raiders can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They breezed by Union at home to the tune of 112-18. Wapahani's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Wapahani was led to victory by Isaac Andrews and Camden Bell. Andrews went 6 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points and 2 assists, while Bell scored 31 points along with seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bell has scored all season. Nate Luce was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with four steals.
Despite the defeat, Union saw an underclassman step up: Dawson Ogden scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Wapahani pushed their record up to 16-2 with that victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.2 points. As for Union, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
Wapahani will head out on the road to face off against the Golden Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Monroe Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 355th, while the Raiders are ranked 72nd). As for Union, they will be playing at home against the Eagles at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
