Pleasant Tigers were the clear victor by  a  70-49 margin over the Zion Christian Academy Eagles on Tuesday thanks in part to  Benderman, who  dropped  a double-double on 17 points and 13  rebounds. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 15.2  points per game.
 The team also got some help courtesy of  Zion Hollis, who  went 5 of 8 on his way to 12 points and six  rebounds. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  rebounds.
 Despite the loss, Zion Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from   Gabe Davenport, who  went 12 of 26 on his way to 27 points and six  steals. That was a full 55.1% of Zion Christian Academy's points, marking the 11th time in a row he's   posted  more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brady Woolf, who  put up 11  points and eight  rebounds.
The  win made it two in a row for Mt. Pleasant and  bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for Zion Christian Academy, they moved to 7-4 with that  loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when  the Mt. Pleasant Tigers  duke it out with  the Giles County Bobcats at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Giles County has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 194 points over their last three contests. As for Zion Christian Academy, they will take on Culleoka at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
