Cooper Thrash posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). He is becoming a predictor of Newton County Academy's success: when he allows at most three earned runs the team is 7-2 (and 4-8 when he doesn't).
