When it comes to explaining why Banning Lewis Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Chase Riehle. Despite the final result, he rushed for 161 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. Riehle was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 59 yards.
Limon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Keon Bandy, who rushed for 109 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. Limon also got a significant boost from Lohgan Bottjer, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 95 yards.
Banning Lewis Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-1. As for Limon, they have yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 11-0 record.
Banning Lewis Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Limon will take on Meeker at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meeker is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
