The Fort Bend Marshall Buffalos and the Randle Lions squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Fort Bend Marshall Buffalos had to settle for second. Fort Bend Marshall took a 35-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of Randle. Fort Bend Marshall's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Landen Callis-Williams was his usual excellent self, rushing for 148 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.
Fort Bend Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Randle, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.
Fort Bend Marshall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Randle will take on Belton at 7:30 p.m. on November 18th. Belton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 215th, while Randle is ranked 97th).
