The San Juan Broncos lost against the Duchesne Eagles back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. San Juan fell 61-49 to the Eagles.
San Juan lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Anthony Done, who scored four points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. Jake Ivins was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
San Juan's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Duchesne, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.
San Juan will head out on the road to face off against the Braves at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully North Summit focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday. As for Duchesne, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Red Devils at 2:00 p.m. on February 3rd. One thing working in Grand County's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 16 games.
