Oconomowoc is a perfect 9-0 against Waukesha West since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Raccoons will head out to take on the Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. Oconomowoc is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

On Wednesday, it was close, but Oconomowoc sidestepped Homestead for an 8-6 victory.

Molly Sheahan was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Kamryn Stoltz also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Oconomowoc kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Waukesha West's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Arrowhead on Tuesday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Wolverines were not able to get on the board.

Anna Dornbach was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she pitched six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Oconomowoc is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Waukesha West, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.

Both Oconomowoc and Waukesha West just can't seem to miss. The Raccoons have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.1 hits per game. However, it's not like Waukesha West struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Oconomowoc took their victory against Waukesha West in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 8-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raccoons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
