Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Oak Ridge

Oak Ridge waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Oran Eagles. The Blue Jays have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Oak Ridge not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Oran between 15 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17, 25-15.

Kaelyn Deckerd paced Oak Ridge's offense, picking up 17 kills. Deckerd got some help from Kenadie Ward and her 34 assists. Zoey Lohmann controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Oak Ridge's win bumped their record up to 12-3-1. As for Oran, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Ridge will welcome Saxony Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oran, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Malden at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
