Riley Helton posted a new career-high in runs on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Brentwood's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 9-12 when he doesn't).

Helton's strong effort led Brentwood over Westminster Christian Academy and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The War Eagles are a perfect 8-0 against the Lions going back to March of 2023, a lead they'll look to extend.
